About Elizabeth Olshanetsky

**this portfolio is under construction as I work to transfer to a more accessible web builder!**

I love design, and especially User Experience/User Research work because I’m super passionate about people, and the process of making something that is easy and enjoyable for people to interact with.

I am currently a contractor at Nasdaq, working in Product/UI/UX design, product strategy and user research. None of my current projects are currently displayed due to NDAs.

I previously worked at a startup called Republic doing Product Design and Community work. I also worked at a Venture Capital firm called Republic Capital doing Operations & Content Creation during my COVID gap year from Yale.

I graduated from Yale with a degree in Computing & the Arts (joint major in Computer Science and Art, with a focus on design). I loved the major because it allows me to explore my creative side while also strengthening my technical acumen. I also recently completed a Study Abroad program at the Elisava School of Design and Engineering in Barcelona where I grew my passion for graphic design and typography and discovered an interest in packaging design.

My hobbies include listening to music (both live and on Spotify), cooking & eating food, trying new cofffe shops, going to the sauna, traveling, photography, and doing spin classes.
